월요일 신문에서 부정적인 단어, 기사를 펀칭하여 오르골 악보를 만들고, 관객이 연주하는 작품입니다.

이번 전시에서 사용한  한국의 중앙일보은 2025년 12월 3일 월요일 신문으로, 게엄 1주년 특집기사와 쿠팡의 대규모 해킹사태 그리고 성추행 사건으로 얼룩진 날이었습니다.

따라서 악보엔 많은 타공이 생겼고, 다양한 음이 연주되는 악보가 완성되었습니다.

This work involves punching out negative words and articles from the Monday edition of a newspaper to create a music box score, which the audience is invited to play.

For this exhibition, the Monday, December 3, 2025 edition of JoongAng Ilbo was used. A special feature on the first anniversary of martial law, a large-scale hacking incident at Coupang, and a sexual harassment scandal marked that day’s issue. As a result, the score is riddled with numerous perforations, producing a complex, varied range of sounds.

월요일 신문에서 파낸, 부정적인 단어와 기사들.. 

부정적 사건이 많을수록 다양한 음원이 만들어지는데, 다르게 생각하면 이런 사건들만 없어도 세상은 얼마나 아름다울지...
 

Negative words and articles are cut out from Monday’s newspaper to form the music box score.

The more negative news there is, the more diverse the resulting soundscape becomes. Yet if you think about it differently, imagine how beautiful the world would sound if such events did not exist at all.

2015~2025의 521일의 월요일 날짜를 수성 잉크를 사용하여 도장으로 찍은 작품으로,  영국, 네덜란드, 한국, 독일, 프랑스 등 6개의 월요일 신문을 사용했습니다.
This work consists of stamps made using water-based ink to mark the dates of all 521 Mondays from 2015 to 2025, utilizing Monday newspapers from six countries: the UK, the Netherlands, South Korea, Germany, Denmark, and France.
