리센트워크갤러리는 여러 분야의 시각예술 전문가과 함께 오늘날 예술을 향유하는 다양한 방식에 대하여 모색해 온 문화예술 기획사 디스위켄드룸이 기획한 매체 실험프로젝트이다.
동시대 미술계에서 주목받고 있는 8명의 시각예술작가들은 주로 대중에게 익숙한 매체를 다루는 그래픽 디자이너 8명과 협업하여 포스터와 같이 대중이 일상에서 가장 쉽게 볼 수 있고 또 간단하게 설치할 수 있는 작품을 제작하였다. 순수예술의 전유물로만 여겨져 온 현대미술이 그래픽 디자이너의 시각적 전환을 통해 보다 일상적인 매체로 재탄생된 총 8종의 작품은 2017년 11월부터 약 두 달동안 병원, 까페, 서점, 코웨킹 스페이스 등 서울, 겨기 일대에 위치한 총 11개의 퍼블릭 혹은 세미 퍼블릭한 공간에 설치되어, 전시 공간이 아닌 일상의 공간에서 관겍들을 마주하게 된다. 설치 작품과 기간은 상이하다.

본 프로젝트는 외부 공간 설치가 진행되는 기간동안 사진과 영상 그리고 텍스트를 통해 기록되어 하나의 출판물오 엮이게되며, 12월 5일부터 12월 30일까지 서울 디스위켄드룸에서 열리는 전시 <예술, 일상을 포스팅하다>를 통해 공개된다.

Recentwork Galley is a media experiment project organized by This Wkkeend Room, an art agency that design the contemporary art platform that explore various ways to enjoy today's art by collaboration with visual art experts from walks of life.
The 8 visual artists who have garnered attention from the contemporary designers mainly dealing with familliar media to the public, and have produced artworks that can be easily seen and easily installed in our daily lives. One of the forms was posters. Contemporary art, which has been regarded only as pure artistic art, has been re-created as a daily medium through the visual transformation of graphic designers.
Starting from November 2017, these artworks will be displayed in 11 public or semi-public spaces such as clinics, cafe, bookshop, co-working space, located in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do for about 2 months. Artworks will face audiences in everyday spaces rather rhan in exhibition spaces. Installation works and duration are differenr for each space.

이번 리센트워크갤러리 프로젝트에서 저는 프로젝트 <보통의 정의>를 함께해온 네덜란드에서 활동중인 이동영 디자이너와 협업한 포스터를 제작했습니다.
2017년에 발표한 희곡 <보통의 정의> 대본집을 바탕으로, 희곡의 기호를 강조하여 제작한 이번 포스터는 광화문의 연세필정신과병원을 비롯하여 네오위즈(판교), 까페 루프트(중구, 합정), 헤이그라운드(성동구), 보안여관(통의동) 등지에 포스팅 됐습니다.
